Married with three teenage children and living in Dolans Bay in Southern Sydney, Craig’s chief interests include athletics and trying to keeping up with his children.
His current role is Chief Economist with Commonwealth Securities, interpreting ‘big picture’ economic and financial trends for customers, clients and staff in a user friendly way. Previously, Craig was Chief Economist at Colonial and has worked at the Australian Financial Review as a Senior Writer.
As well as providing presentations to staff and clients and commentaries on financial and economic trends, Craig appears regularly in both the electronic and printed media. Craig has worked in banking, finance and journalism for over 33 years and holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Commerce (Economics). Both degrees were undertaken at University of NSW.
In February 2012 Craig was appointed an Adjunct Professor at Curtin Business School in Perth.
