Tips to get started with myGovID
The way you access our Business Portal is changing. AUSkey and Manage ABN Connections will be retired on 27 March 2020 and will be replaced
with myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).
Here are some tips that might help you get started!
- What device can you use? myGovID is compatible with most smart devices using iOS 10 or later on Apple devices and Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later. The security and identification features of your smart device protect your identity and help stop other people accessing your information. Download myGovID for free from the App Store or Google Play.
- Why would you be having trouble verifying your identity documents? When setting up your myGovID you'll need to verify your Australian identity documents. You may be unable to confirm your identity if your name (including any middle names or initials) doesn't match your documents.
- You have set up your myGovID, now what? The principal authority (business owner or listed associate on the ABR) needs to link their ABN to your myGovID in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) so you can log in to the business portal. If you have employees you can then authorise them to act on behalf of your business using RAM.
