The Cost of MYOB’s New Look
Cloud technology and energetic competition have driven MYOB to develop new technology, functionality and even a new image, culture and direction for the future. For free? Of course not, it looks fantastic but let’s have a look at the damage.
Their most popular desktop software with cloud access, and one of our favourites here at The Money Edge, is MYOB AccountRight Live. Here’s how the price is changing at each level at 1 April 2017*:

MYOB is also investing heavily in their completely cloud-based solution called MYOB Essentials. For the lucky people using MYOB Essentials (sarcasm alert, this is not a favourite) the price will be increasing to $40 per month for the standard file, or $50 per month with payroll, including GST. If you are using MYOB Essentials and it’s not serving you well, please talk to The Money Edge Team about better alternatives that are available.
Overall these developments won’t break the bank and MYOB is still very cost effective in terms of labour-hours saved, but if you are wondering how you can get the best value from your accounting software, we are happy to discuss your options with you.
