Is your coffee amazing?
Since moving to Bundy a few months ago, I have received more bad customer service than good. Which is sad. Someone once told me, ‘although we do remember good experiences, it’s always the bad ones that tend to stick out in our minds and we want to tell the world about it’. How true is that!
I’m a coffee lover. Love, love, love my coffee and cannot function without it (or so I tell myself!). I had been grabbing a coffee on the way to work each day from a place that I’ve been getting my coffee from on my visits to Bundy for the last 7 or so years. The customer service is average but I enjoyed the coffee. Yes eye contact was made and a smile but most of the time it was like it was forced.
As I waited for my daily coffee hit, I noticed the place across the road was always busy and I wanted to know why. What was I missing out on? So one day I ditched my usual coffee place and I tried their coffee. Their coffee is great and the same price, but the thing that makes their coffee AMAZING is their customer service! Wow! I noticed the staff were happy and energetic and I thought wow these guys really love working here. They really made my day that day. I found myself returning instead of going to my usual coffee shop because of how they made me feel.
I’m not asking for hugs or high fives. All I want is great customer service. I guess the whole point of this is to encourage positive customer service that is memorable and make people want to share their great experiences with the world instead of unpleasant ones.
